About Me

Welcome!

My name is Kirsten.  I am the author of this blog, wife to The Man, mother to Elvin and Zany, keeper of the gardens and grounds of Hoagieball Manor.    We live on two and a half acres of land on top of a hill in New England.  Here, we build tree houses, grow food and flowers, sing, watch the weather and enjoy being outside together.

When I'm not outside gardening, walking or riding my bike,  I like to make music with my children, make art, read, and make grand plans for beautifying Hoagieball Manor.  I have just recently begun to learn playing the Penny Whistle and love Country Dance music which luckily is abundant where I live.  I also like to visit with the many wonderful people that live near me, go dancing, listen to music, knit, sew, paint, needle felt and do other artsy and craftsy things.

Other interests include Waldorf Education, Biodynamic gardening, nutrition and natural living, and studying Anthroposophy.  I continue to run into the most interesting and lovely people on this path.

I invite you to come in, sit on the porch, sip some tea, take in the beautiful views, stay and chat a while.  There is so much to talk about...
